I am confused about keypads, because I have played long time saying keypads left-right-up-down so kp3 is at upper right corner. I have seen that most of the ppl says so too. But some day ago there came misunderstunding when some guy said that something is at kp 9 and meant bottom right corner. He said that keypads goes like keyboards keypads. At the moment I really don't know which one is the right way.

Look at the left top of the minimap or the right side of your keyboard

So it's:

4 5 6
1 2 3

Keypads go by the keyboard. Also, its hard to see but if you look in A1, it shows the keypad numbers in that grid.

i belive its common to use the standard keyboard layout as reference, where 9 is in the upper right and 1 in the lower left corner.

There is also (if you look carefully) on the map in the grid A1 tiny numbers in the bottom left of each minor grid that says the numbers if you ever forget ^^.

I always used it like on a phone keypad

i also think some people commonly do this, which is wrong

its the numpad on the right of your keyboard this really should be put in the manual

why 2 threads on same thing. i do get confused sometimes lol

hehe, i also did. i find phone one much easier to get used to if you are new to it.

A1 on all maps has keypads , and these keypads are done the keyboard way.

Awesome, this adds a realistic element because it simulates intelligence errors.

Dont know how you say phone is easier when all you have to do is look at the right side of your keyboard to see which number is where.
