When did you start Squad Leading?

How long after you were first introduced to PR did you take on the role as Squad Leader?

Are you a natural leader or a trustworthy follower?

How does one make a poll, by the way?

I have been playing for I think almost two years, and I'm still learning and still I most often play as a squad member

- Even if, of course, I've tried to lead a few times with different results.

I started squad leading out of a need for good squad leaders in pub games(2006ish), EI someone who has a unifying vision of the battle, like a commander.

I didn't SL for quite a while, but I got kinda annoyed with some of the less good SLs, and just did it myself cuz I thought I could do better, and I think I'm pretty good at it. Though before that I was constantly playing medic.

I've been playing for about a year on PR now, and I usually avoid the SL role due to everytime I assume the role, everyone on my squad goes Rambo and does their own thing. Even when I give them warnngs, they still won't listen. So I usually prefer to just join a squad and put rounds downrange, and not worry about the jackass I told not to get the marksman kit running off into the wild blue yonder.

pretty much straight away as i SLed in vbf2 in "voip eng" squads. then i found PR and realized people would actually join now. and yes it can be annoying, mainly because most of the players are borderline retarded and need constant communication to stop them from doing stupid things.

I started out of necessity when everyone would leave and rejoin the squad to avoid being squad leader. I found that I kinda liked it.

I played PR for about a month before joining my clan, and it took me months in my clan until I started voluntarily Squad Leading. I try to exercise and allow at least 6 guys in the team do something right.

I try to be a loyal squad member, but If I'm seeing that we aren't trying near our best, I'll start yelling at the squad leader to pass me SL.

About 6 months practising, getting a new rig etc - then almost non-stop leading 99% of the time.

Started about 4 months after I started PR. I'm probably SL 1/2 the time and SM 1/2 the time, though I consider myself a rather bad SL. However most squads I am in tend to fall apart and do their own thing, so I like to try and be as tactical in my squads whatever the server.
