Ok so my radeon 3650 is a little old-ish now so im thinking of buying a new card. I walk into PC world (just to see whats about -will probably buy online some where else)

Problems:

1)Look at GT220, box says 1gb sticker underneath says 500MB WTF

2)Look at GT240 dont see much difference, only ddr3 instead of 2?

3)Web sites say that both are $*** and get a GT9800 but isnt that like old?

4)whats a good Ati for ~£70-£90

TLDR:

ATI 1GB for under £100 Which one to buy/are there any????

Ps. is it me or do graphics cards number go up and down in no particular order regardless of how **** they are?

Add me on steam if you have it... "Fatguyzeno"

I've had to shop for a GPU once and in the process of it now.

I also took a computer hardware class last tri-mester and passed with an A :p

I'm not avoiding your question by posting some obscure link. I recently purchased an ATI 4850 after reading this article in its entirety. The link I gave should be able to explain everything (in lamens terms) for even the least computer savvy person to buy a graphics card with confidence.
