Couldnt't really find a decent name for the thread but heres the plan.

Is it possible to make it so when posting in the suggestion sections of the forums that when you click on make new thread a box pop's up that says:

"You are about to make a suggestion, have you checked the *** thread for anything close or the same as the suggestion your about to make? Have you also searched for any topics like this? If not please do so before you post on the forums as we like to keep the forums un cluttered."

There would just be a Okay button at the bottom to go to the area to create the topic. I'm only suggesting this because i've noticed alot of re suggestions and what not while browsing through here. I mean even if it doesn't cut down resuggestions that much it would still be a little bit helpful.

I'm pretty sure this was suggested a few weeks ago, did you search?

Just to clarify why this isn't being used - our forum database is rather massive. With the number of posts and new threads we get, the database would be hammered by the data access requests.

Which would mean cleaning up our personal porn caches...so no, sorry.

Masaq is right though, sadly enough.
