PR Training

After playing this great mod, I've noticed alot of team killing (accidental ones) followed by punishes. Some kid drives on his bike and does not watch the map for any mines, or he simply does not know how too zoom on his map whilst being in a vehicle too see how far the mines are from him, and goes OMF... how can an idiot place a mine there. I never gave him permission... blah, blah, blah... Then he Pages Down to punish an unsuspecting player.

Now lots af games have been lost or won through this and I therefore suggest a training course that each player should pass in order to play this game on line.

Take Gran Turismo for an example. You cannot participate in actual events before you've done the Licencing first.

Just a thought.

Good in theory but talked to death and will never work.

Morons, especially anonymous morons (ala the internet), will always try to blame someone else for their mistakes. In general, most people on BF2/PR are too malicious to do anything other than bash page down the second they're teamkilled.

The only answer to this is, be like the T&T server and turn TK punish off. 9.9 times out of 10 it was an accident.

Exactly my point. It's because some one did not teach them, from when they were toddlers, the difference between accidental and on purpose. Well... It takes all kinds to fill the world. Right? ;-) Who thinks: "I'm gonna place a mine there to kill a friendly" but if the bloke, that normally punishes for such accidents, become in a reversed role, he b!tches and moans and asks the admins even to kick the bloke. :p

I don't get what you're saying?

No amount of 'training' will stop morons from punishing accidental TKs; it's the internet, people just don't care on here lol

AFAIK TK punish rules are set by server admins, petition your server admin to have TK punish option removed. The server I play on has no TK punish and it's a lot better for it IMHO, most people are very polite and imidiatley appologise for TK's. Accidents happen, Intentional TK's can be handled by admins and idiots who only have themselves to blame have to just suck it up and move on.

Has anyone ever sneezed and killed a freindly or is that just me?

Best option would be if a guy tks X amout of people in X amount of time, he can be voted for TK, until that, everything is unvoteable and TK is counted as mistake...

I'm an Admin on our server and I'm glad to say that this immaturity does not occur there. I only find this on servers outside our border or international blokes (not every one) joining, our server, that normaly does the punishing thing.

Training mode is to be removed for 0.9 also blocking the ability to play on normal servers is most likely hardcoded
