Well if my computer handles the current PR pretty smooth on medium graphics how well will the new one run?

shouldn't be too different
I play the current version on low... I hope it doesnt take too much specs to play 0.9 or I'll have to buy a new comp

BF2 engine is so old P4 can run it with 6200GT GPU

Maybe to some maps, but nothing major I dont think. New draw distances on objects etc if you run it fine now I really doubt it will run much if at all different.

I think it will just have more effect on the CPU, not graphics. Graphics kinda stay the same... no?

Yeah, its always best to upgrade rams. I got 4 gb ram, each stick 1 gb.

Since .8, my computer has choked on every new (major) release. I've added RAM and been able to keep up by lowering the settings. I used to play vBF2 at full power, but I strugle with PR. Now granted its time for me to upgrade anyway, as I've taken this rig as far as it will go, but I just dont have the money.

I just hope I can keep playing and retain most of the visual goodies. I would love to see PR .9 at max settings, but thats probably not going to happen.

If you can run v0.874 fine, v0.9 should be fine. If you're having issues with v0.874, you will probably have issues with v0.9. And that's about it
