Im a techy type of guy mainly to do with hardware and gfx and i get a fair bit about the rest of computers but i dont know enough to set up a proxy connection to my fav servers even the aussie ones.
I have a Ping of 250ish on american servers. I have a great service but unfortunately im just so far away.
Please refer to a good manual or a good guy who can help me because i dont have the money to pay a professional company to set mine up.

Help because i play SinglePlayer and whether or not that im any better at tactics but i can actually hit things like dead-on every shot. Yet is has always been hard and thought it was me but now realize its lag.

I do run at about 100fps.
I will definitely try this but online fraps says i am running at 100fps too.
I am guessing you put "game.lockfps 30" in the command line using the ` key?

fps in game is not the same as fps on a dedi server...

FPS on a dedicated server is CPU cycles really, not an fps in the graphical sense.

also, not sure why you would want to run a proxy to a US server, you will still have a 250 ping.

Will ping not change if a proxy is setup straight to the server bypassing all other things?

Main issue here is the sheer distance and no matter what you do to enhance your network connection won't bring Australia any closer to USA.

SO how do proxy connections on WOW servers work?
