Well I'm working on the Makarov, requested by Nosferatu, who also gave me the reference photos
I'm busy with some other stuff right now(telling my former summer employer that I'm not going to work for him mainly)

The Makarov PM is a blowback operated, double action pistol of all-steel construction.
Manual safety is located on the left side of the slide, and, when engaged, safely brings hammer down from cocked position, and then locks the hammer, sear and slide.
External hammer can be cocked manually for the accurate first shot in Single action mode, or can be cocked automatically by the longer and heavier trigger pull in Double action mode.
All-steel magazine holds 8 rounds (12 rounds for PMM pistols), and when last shot is fired, slide remains in the open position, thanks to the slide stop.
To disengage slide stop, one must pull the lever on the left side of the frame down.
Magazine catch is located at the bottom of the grip, but some export versions of Baikal-442 are available with button magazine release at the base of the triggerguard.
PM is fitted with fixed open sights as a standard, with click-adjustable open sights available as an option on export models.

Ok, finally got aroudn to restarting this project, and after setting up my rendering settings, and talking to both rhino and ztrooper over xfire over the issues of a gf draggin attention away from computer, which isn't a bad thing I"d consider(3 months guys Haha) heres some progress, after a restart

Heres my first thing, I'm thinking of doing a high poly model first, then work on a low poly one to have a bump map baked onto, we'll see what I can do, don't hold you're breaths though ahha

Pics or it didn't happen Insurgents could use a nice pistol like this though

In Russian Army and Militia(this is name of russian police,not militia in eng.transition) this pistols use today,but they replase(In some bases) by MR-448 "SKYPH"!

chechen militia possibly too, seeing how they in reality would use all the weapons they could lay their hands on and most of that comes from the former soviet army

chechen squad leader with ak74 scoped and scorpion seems a bit overpowered anyway

BTW f you see me on during this time or in 80 minutes, I'm at school, no modelling, just droppin a line(or 3 in this case)

I'm slowly doing work on it, but since pickin up a girl friend in Nov, haven't really been available to do this work

How would that help Mr.Fart develop his modeling skills?

If the Insurgents end up using the Makarov in-game, nobody will use it. Slow reload time, underpowered cartridge.

i thought that scorpion was an ersatzwaffe for
but its difficult to disagree that chechen officer was overpowered.

Considering its in russia, I wouldnt be suprised to see the Makarov in use there

the translation I got for ersatzwaffe is replacement weapon(my german isn't good enough to figure that out without help ), I guess you meant that the scorpion was a placeholder for the weapons you showed in the picture(I believe old submachineguns of czech design though I'm not entirely sure),
there are two things I don't really understand though...
how is this related to my post and more importantly:
how comes a mongol uses german words in his speech?

My biggest issue is that I'm not seeing results fast enough....I realize this isnt' a quick thing, but my skills are just such that I'm not seeing what I want to do, and I have no confidence in my abilities.
