Processor = 2.50 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
RAM = 2x 1024MB DDR2 Unbuffered SDRAM
Video Card = GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Memory
Network Config = Cable -> router -> ethernet, 3 Meg Broad + 1/4 Meg boost

BF2 Version: EA Downloader Complete Edition


Issue:

Booted up Project Reality (O) -> went to server listings (O) ->clicked on server...allowing to refresh ping and show server info. (O) -> "Deploy" into server (X)

Analysis:

Endeavoring into any server causes PR to CTD with no error messages whilst not reaching the download portion.

Solutions Attempted:

• Reinstall cached BF2, patch 1.41, patch 1.50, core, levels
• Reformated Windows XP several times
• Lowered all BF2 video optionables to lowest quality except sound
• Synced monitor refresh rate to BF2
• Windowed mode
• Random user solutions in search

People with a copy of BF2 from EA Download Manager need to re-download BF2 again instead of running the copy that was originally in the cache.
