maps in v0.9?

Are any maps being removed in the new update? Are the maps listed in the update blog the only ones in .9? I dont want to see EJOD desert go away =(

awwww...that was the most balance and fun map in my opinion...ohhh well, i still look forward to all the new stuff..

All of EJOD was fun except the city interior. I LOVED defending the Gas station, and I LOVED assaulting MEC Gardens! Good times....

I am also sad from the dying of OGT. No more jungle warfare for PR :'(

NO!!!!! NO!!! NOOOO!!!

I barely got a chance to pub on this one in .87, barely any servers ever ran 7 Gates! What other map offers for a freakin epic fort defense with miles of open ground to cross, and then assault?

It was the ultimate infantry challenge of using covering fire, smoke, suppression, and wall scaling!

its ok chris. these maps are being replace with bigger, better, and more tactical maps. so no worries! RIP Ejod... RIP.

If I recall, the reason it got removed is because all it was was a flat out 1 km expanse of jungle with a river in the middle. Nothin' but trees and hills. By far the most boring map in PR (especially in SP). Although the temple on the east side of the river was pretty cool.

Mestia was a lot of fun i found. Had some fun firefights with good groups. But can't say it was my favorite.

I'm going to miss Tad Sae the most. For me it was always interesting to play on that flat, simply map. :)

Tad Sae had a nice village in the S/SE part of the map as well with rice fields around it, not to forget the cave more to the North!

We're expecting a retro/old/removed map pack to be released separately so those who wish to host and play those maps will still be able to do so.

Hence they aren't being killed, just relocated.

i will miss some of these, others not. bad thing though that i know all these maps by heart and now this knowledge is worthless :(

PR has always dropped older maps in favor of newer, better ones, its nothing new.

I feel nothing but sorrow for the loss of OGT, it will be sorely missed.

Sunset city and 7 gates however, can die alone and unloved in horrible pain.

Too bad. All the good small forest warfare maps are gone. On those maps full 6man infantry squads with teamwork still was important.

Ohh my EJOD... I really don't wanna recall my latest EJOD experience. It was not a war..it was an orgy for MECs. :(
