How to confirm your PR v0.9 files are not corrupt

While waiting for Friday you should probably check that your downloaded files have not flipped a bit and is corrupted in any way.
I can't think of anything worse than getting the password on Friday then seeing a "corrupt file message" at install time.
It happened to me last release.
So here's a quick guide on how to test the files.
We are going to talk about MD5 checksums but this has NOTHING to do with punkbuster issues
DBzao has provided the 0.9 MD5 checksum hashes here:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f380-p ... ost1252542
Microsoft provides a CLI util here:
Availability and description of the File Checksum Integrity Verifier utility
If you are OK with the command line then you probably don't need any further help.
For a GUI MD5 tool I'll walk through MD5Summer, a basic free util, there are others out there too:
About the MD5summer
Your PR downloads MUST be complete.
When complete a "Save as" window will appear.
Name the file PR-Checksum
Save as Type *.txt"
You will see the checksums on the screen but it's easier to confirm them from the txt file just saved.
Open the PR-Checksum.txt
Copy and Paste the very long checksum string listed above underneath the (hopefully) matching one in the txt file and compare.
If they match up EXACTLY then you should be good for Friday.
If not then you could have a corrupt file OR your file has not completed downloading yet.
