Hey there Ladies and Gents. I've got a quick question for you all, decided to post it on here as your obviously the experts and all pretty active too

I am brand spanking new to PR after only discovering it a week ago, however after drooling over the youtube videos and all the stories in the forums i decided id dive in. At this point i realised i had no idea what i was doing

For days ive been dowlonading stuff and trying to get it to work to know avail.

What i need you help with is:

What is the latest version of PR can i download without needing any previous version. I noticed it goes all the way back to v0.3 and i dont want to be starting there and installing up

My lastest endevour was to download and install both the map and core files for v.0756
However after clicking on the link i was met with a screen telling me to update my shorcuts, however when i look at them its a lot of jargon, however there is no sign of bf2.exe the only .exe i can see is pr.exe

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

Sooo if that is the most updated version i can download without needing anything apart from my 1.5 patched copy of BF2 then thats the problem

If there is a better version for me to get going with then please advice

righto mate, you are right on time .9 is being released as we speak, you can pre-load it via the torrents in the download section at the top of the page http://www.realitymod.com/downloads

just install the two files that are in the torrent when teh password is released on friday

to download via a torrent use a program like utorrent http://www.utorrent.com/ or wait for a direct download link on friday to download the actual .exe files

Installation timeline ( from Project Reality v0.87 Installation Guide)

1. Install BF2
-----------------
BF2:SF Expansion | --- If you have BF2:SF, here is where it should be installed.
----------------
2. Install Battlefield 2 v1.41
3. Install Battlefield 2 v1.5
4. Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.874)




Project Reality v 0.87 uses TWO separate Client Installers and should be installed in this order.
Core first and followed by Levels.
(Use the 'levels' installer to make a desktop short cut.)
