If you want CAS (close air support) provide a grid and kpad, especially if cas consists of jets. We have not developed mind reading yet. Without a grid and Kpad CAS is NOT possible. You do not see Laser marks further than 1 km away and if you want to drop JDAM you do not see a laser mark at all. The pilot tells you when you have lock, but bombs cant do acrobatics on their way down, so it would be ideal if we could align the jet with the target.


I know it should be easier with the new radio system coming with 0.9, and you get mumble too, apart from the fact that a line in chat is sufficient. Dont just laze a target and spam "target lased", that wont get you CAS.

Amen. I'm not going to risk 11 tickets and 20 minutes waiting for another jet to kill a single infantry with a AA hot area.
