Ok so, I have been playing PR for a while now and i just downloaded PR .9. So i join a game or two and i notice that i have been lagging alot and it takes longer than usual to load the game. So i think to my self, maby the new PR has taken alot of space so i then dicide to delete things on my computer. As i am deleting things i come across all these older versions of PR. So i delete them and ever since then ive been getting this message saying that the shortcut if broken and it just searched for pr.exe. So what do i do? Do i download .9 again? Help Please!!

Find the pr.exe (use windows search) and create a new shortcut.

ok, and i found a few of them. Theres 2 names pr.exe but they are like documents that i can read using notepad and theres one called PR.EXE followed by a bunch of letters and numbers. that one is found in a folder named C:\Windows\prefetch. and the other two are found in folders that are from EA and another 1 from document and settings. are any of those them?

I'm afraid that you are going to lag regardless what you try. We all do.

Path to PR.exe by default for Vista is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"

For XP:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"
