To help us find the cause of performance issues with PR 0.9, we need to collect your information in an organised manner. In the post below, you will find a template for reporting 0.9 performance issues, just simply quote the post below and fill in the gaps.

Note : No other posting is to take place in this thread. Only filling in the template.

Q1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes, but does not effect gameplay. I had 250 frames on some maps now I mostly have 60-90. So, massive performance drop but unnoticeable.

Q2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

9

Q3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

None so far (will edit if I find one)

Q4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

n/a

Q5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

All so far (will edit if any change)

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?
Yes, specifically on new maps

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.
9, with occasional drops is particular areas on newer maps

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.
Beirut*, Silent Eagle, Lashkar Valley,
EDIT: Karbala

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.
Large and enterable buildings on Beirut, the corn fields etc in Lashkar Valley (sp?) and around centre of the map on Silent Eagle (a radius of about 100-200m, gets worse if I look at the centre of the map).
EDIT: Beirut had an far longer load time compared to other maps when I played it, sitting on 0% for some time.
On karbala my framerate was terrible (unplayable, couldn't move) for about a minute after I spawned for the first time.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
All maps not listed in #3

* Note that I played Beirut with the settings indicated in brackets and changed them after the loss in performance
** Also I haven't played any of the new maps asides from the ones listed here. Will post back once I have played more maps/covered more areas

1. Yes.

2. Would give it a 3.

3. Fallujah, Gaza Beach, Lashkar Valley and Beirut.

4. Standing in the USMC main on Fallujah and slowly rotating will make the FPS dance like a crazy Cossack. Facing towards the centre of the map (slightly northeast) will drop it down to ~15. When I turn around and face south it will jump to ~100 instantly. Same thing happen on other maps when facing towards the centre. And everywhere it is stuttering like crazy.

5. The FPS is jumping around like crazy on every map. Even on a map like Asad Khal it will switch from 90-100 to 20-30 just depending on the direction I am facing. On Kashan, Silent Eagle (the village being the exception) and Operation Archer (village an exception here as well) it wasn't as dramatic, though.

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes, I haven't seemed to have dropped below 30 yet but I have noticed a large decrease in fps.

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

Well like I said above, I haven't gone below 30fps so its been pretty playable, I guess maybe a 6 or 7.

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Operation Dragonfly
Lashkar Valley
Fallujah West

The other newer maps and maps that have been significantly updated also cause a drop in performance but it seems those three are the worst.

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

If I can load Dragonfly without getting a memory error then when I first spawn in I lag so bad that Punkbuster kicks me for heartbeat stop. But otherwise when I am in or near the city I get the biggest performance drop.

Lashkar I always seem to have low fps no matter where I am. More specifically up and down the grid closest to the river on the right side.

Fallujah I seem to have low fps everywhere, but again more specifically around the big grass field to the north of the US spawn and around the middle of the city around the Mosque.

Also, any map when I zoom in and out with the PKM it seems to have a huge performance drop in that transition time.
5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

I seem to have performance issues with all of the maps but its mainly the new ones or the ones that have been significantly updated.

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

3/10 (especially on new maps)

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Lashkar Valley / Silent Eagle / The Russia vs Militia insurgency (the one with the Ferriswheel) / Basicly all new maps / Haven't really played old maps yet except for Asad which runs fine

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

Lashkar: Everywhere...even in the tunnels
Silent Eagle: Outskirts village, looking at village
Ferriswheel map: Everywhere

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

Asad is the only map so far without performance issue. Haven't played others yet. If I put everything to low and resolution on 1024x480 it runs fine.

Yamalia has run very smoothly save for a little lag, same for most of the old maps, however I have not had a chance to try all of the old ones yet.

I only played on 4 so far and all three were pretty poor so it's a bit unfair to note them like they were the worst.

Pretty much all around although the more objects (ie: buildings) on the screen the worse it gets.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
None yet.
