WOW! Well, this is a disappointment... So many errors in the downloads, I had to download the mod about 2 or 3 times for the pack to download properly. but when it finally does... the install exe tends to take bout 5 mins for feedback. Once had everything installed. PR crashes upon start. Everyone I talked to was not able to play PR, some people were lucky and got to the map load screen, only to be welcomed to a crash.


PLEASE FIX THIS!!!! took me 2 days to come this far, only to crash along with everyone else.

Well no. I can play PR, and so can the other 1640 people playing it right now.

Can you start by stating how you downloaded the new version, did you use the torrent or a direct download? If you used a direct download did you use a download manager?

It will always take a few minutes for the .exe to start after you click to install, this has been the same for several previous versions on PR and is due to the fact that you are attempting to unpack several GBs of data. This cannot be fixed but is entirely normal, you just have to be patient.

Also could you please stop repeating the exact same post in several forum sections, you are helping neither yourself nor the Devs in sorting your problems.

well I have to, I keep getting locked because of some admin denying it... I just want to play this game so bad..

You're gonna have to be much more specific. When and where exactly does it crash? Before the BSS intro starts? If so, change your audio in your BF2 Documents to software. But don't expect a reply and a answer if you don't give us detail. When I installed .85, it took me nearly a week to get it working. So be patient, wait and give us details.

- If the installer is taking forever to load, disable UAC and it'll be near instant launch.
- If you are crashing after the PR splash screen, delete My documents/Battlefield 2, it should launch after that, else, launch BF2 and configure your settings, then launch PR once they're configured.
- If you are crashing when loading a map, try running in windowed mode (append "+fullscreen 0" to the end of the shortcut as a parameter: .../mods/pr/pr.exe" +fullscreen 0), and see if it gives you an error message.

Need more information really, your video has been removed. Ranting about how no one is helping you because can't give us enough information isn't really going to help your cause.

This is due to the unpackaging on the installer. This usually happens to people who have a large pagefile 3gb+ and higher amounts of ram. You will find peopole with standard 2gb ram and smaller page file can open the instsaller much quick.

Advice to people who have to wait.... wait.
