On other maps you probably do not notice it because your FPS is still at barable levels.

Its the grass and trees.
Its been like that for me since .85. If you zoom in on a large amount of static grass or trees, your framerate drops a lot.

I had this really bad on Siege at Ochamancheira, but only with the GTLD, it was so bad that when i tried doing the second zoom level my game froze up for a while and PB kicked me for heartbeats stop

On Yamila its down to Deer's use of the old overgrowth fields.

In Gaza beach, I was lagging like crazy, but once I put on the binoculars, I was fine.

Is this something that will get changed? Is there a way of having these great fields without performance issues for some people? I don't have any problems regarding overall performance on any of the new (or old) maps so far, but I could see why it's annoying for others.
