First:
I was flying the chinook and I got two .50 cal hits and heli stopped working and crashed on the ground , only two hits,
Second:
When the chinook warms up or when landed it cant stop moving it is just rolling i killed a lot of teammates cause they werent staying out of the way
Third:
There were couple of passengers in the chinook but they just walked into it not on "E" and everything was good, I was flying good and when I tried to avoid AA I had to go hard right and the passengers died
Fourth:
Please make the ramp close it helps, just like the FH2's glider there was no lag in FH2 when closing or opening the door , and if you do then please make it not to hold space just press once for open and again for close
If you do this you dont have to make whole new patch you can make a tiny little hotfix<Thanks>

How do you know the fifty only hit you twice?

Doesn't shock me.
I was just thinking that was a possibility.
That really needs to be changed. I know the vehicle member limit is appalling compared to it's real life counter part but it's no excuse for letting retards hop in and get themselves killed.

People die when they get in the back because of collision detection. Otherwise people would just fall through the helicopter

BF2 isntl like vietnm where they could safely stand inside a moving vehicle.

For the first, I've found the chinook has a pretty wild damage model. On silent eagle, I've taken two Tunguska rockets and probably three or four sustained seconds of cannon fire, and I was able to fly the bird back, alarms ringing. On Yamalia, I've taken four sustained seconds of cannon fire from the btr with the actual cannon, the 80a I think, and simply exploded outright.
The second is really annoying, you do have to juggle it on the ground. Holding the S button for a few seconds to scoot backwards is good. One thing I have noticed is that the Chinook is ready to go after 15-20 seconds. This means it's effective to simply turn the chopper off while not directly in use. It won't slide anywhere, and it can be ready really fast. (By ready to go I mean you can apply full power and get a not inconsiderable amount of lift and stability. It won't start going 500+ speed until after 30s, but it'll start you on the way)
Your third point is just kind of funny. I never let passengers ride unsecured, I always end up killing them too. Engine haet collisions at speed. As for your last point, I don't know if the actual fix was ever found, but I always heard the merlin lag was because the door opened and closed. It doesn't really add anything to open or close the door, other than looks.

Thats a myth to be honest. I have had the "merlin lag" on hueys before (though only in one version), never had the merlin lag (except for one version, the one where it was tried to be fixed) and I have had it on an Apache in another mod.
It varied between servers, one server gave me alot of huey lag in one time, while others where no problem. It could be fixed by entering a vehicle with weapons, or at least the apache, then back into merlin for example fixed it.
I think the door had very little to do with it.

your third point is not a bug. thats just the way the bf2 engine handles collision detection. if your passengers are dumb enough to not take seats in the chinook then they deserve to die.
