My Pc has started turning itself off after about 10mins of playing PR9......?

It has been fine with all the other ones todate.

Thought it may be a over heating issue so check the temps and everything seems fine:

cant see anything there to set the alarms off, or warrent an auto shutdown.....anyone think of something eles it could be?

Check your voltages on your motherboard, especially your 3.3v

If its not in range, it could be a bad power supply or you might have a burnt pin on the power plug that goes into your motherboard. Ive had this problem before and it turned out to be exactly this.

The 3.3v is what your core uses, and if it doesnt have the correct voltage it will cause the computer to shut off instantly. The fact that it turns off when playing pr might be cause of the load the game puts on the system.

What power supply do you have??

How should i test the voltages on my motherboard? (do you mean, jumper the power-on to ground, and then test the PSU pins with a multi meter?

For tweaking Voltages you might consider "RM Clock Utility".
There's advice on how to use the tool in the forums of it. It might help you.
It ain't very hard, takes a couple of minutes to read into it.

Either way, you might at least consider to open up and clean your PC (especially the fans).

Dont know if the Voltages need tweeking????

The pc is Spotless....no dust blocking fans or heatsinks, gave it a very good clean last nigh with a can of air.
