Same here on Muttrah.
Makes the Coax MG as good as useless especially when engaging targets at range.

The vehicle will behave the same on every map.

It's called adjusting the position of the sights. Use the tracers to shoot where you want to shoot.

It doesnt matter what map its on, its the vehicle itself.

This adjusting means you would waste time means not-so-coaxial gun is now useless until engaging at really close range. Or while the main gun is overheated. And since everything was ok in the previous version it seems to be a bug.

Problem is, coax bullet drop is INSANE. You have to look in the sky in order to kill someone whose 100m away from you.

I don't find it to be too much of a problem. It takes all of half a second for me to adjust. Not that difficult.
Or you could fire off a few rounds (before you engage an enemy) to see where on your HUD the bullets are landing and remember the position for future engagements. I once put a small black mark on my screen to note where the bullets are fired.
Another alternative for close range engagements is the MPAT.

I guess you missed the point of co-axial machine gun on armored vehicles. It supposed to shoot to the same point-of-aim as your main gun. It is used primarily to verify aim of your main gun in real life, so as not to waste main gun's ammo and secondary to clear close-in enemy infantry. If you have to re-aim co-ax, it defeats its purpose.
And I also had the same problem on Muttrah map, almost killed US soldier standing in front of my APC, felt quite silly shooting at my own. Definitely must be fixed in v.091.

I am no expert, but you have projectiles flying from two different positions, there is no guarante that these bullets will always hit the same target at any given distance since you would have to readjust the co-axial gun to meet the firing line of the main gun at a set distance.
Also I imagine that the drop on the coaxial machine gun is going to be different from the main gun

Seems to me people don't under stand that the coax shares all the sames axies of movement but is off set from the main cannon by a few cm and is set to fire paralle to the main gun and isn't zeroed for any range.

thats the point, its offset, so you won't hit the same spot

The bug isnt there EVERYTIME. had some rounds with but also without. Looks pretty random which could explain some of you not seeing it as a bug. cuzz it DEFINITALY is.

no way this is a new feature, if it is we can go ahead for bubble guns...

Isn't that caused by looking all the way up?
With the russian AA vehicle on Silent Eagle, if you look all the way up, the reticles aren't correct either. You fix it by looking all the way down again.
Something with the sight going higher then the barrels can handle

But the cannon is still centered when this happens.

Because the cannon is fixed to fire from the centre of the screen wherever the barrel is pointing, where as the coaxial comes out of the barrel.
