Just want to throw my appreciation out for the vast improvement of sniper rifles. Although I think these changes were made in an earlier version, not .9, but whatever -- they kick ***. Much better than the seemingly random hit/miss (mostly miss) mechanics of prior versions. Best round was as Hamas on Gaza Beach, picked up a sniper early on and held it for the rest of the match. 25 kills 0 deaths, including several enemy snipers, APC gunners, and entire squads.

Keep it up!

Went 25-0 with the M40 on Fallujah, they absolutely smash anyone in the way.

Don't get me started on the deployed SVD though. < points to avatar

Love sniping , but cant seem to laze targets anymore in 0.9 as the sniper deosnt have a radio or am i missing something ?

PS i can laze them but cannot send out the radio command anymore ?!

The lee einfield sniper is much better than the last version, the team gave it more power as it uses a much more powerful round than the 7.62mm X39 which is in the AK47.

If you read the changelog, they op'd it.

Also the scope is much better, I like the thin lines a lot more.

Actualy u can. I made a post about that problem and it seems that now you laze targets wihtouth sending any message(as sniper). Left click, and laze will appear(lasts 30 seconds) from there u just have to communicate with cas or w/e. Only sq leaders may send messages and what type of ammo to be used ( bombs, guns etc.)

Thank you m8 , thats excactly what i ended up doing when i was in a recon squad behind nme lines
