Md5tool mismatch

I'm getting kinda tired with this game. Bf/pr is like an old car that is in bad condition; everytime you fix a problem a new one comes. This time it's the Md5tool mismatch: shaders_client.zip error and again pb issue, of course. I think pb is cursed or something because all games running pb that I've played have had some kind of issues, almost all because of pb. I've tried to remove bf from my documents/mods(there isn't pr folder although I've read there should be?) and check those md5 things with md5summer(I'm not very good at computer techics as you can see). But i can't use the md5summer tool to shaders_client.zip file and don't know why. What else should I try because I'd really like to play pr without getting kicked every 5 minutes(weird because this issue just came up from nothing and i hadn't done anything before this started). Thank you!

that is not correct there are 2 locations that matter:
1. "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr" which is the pr root folder inside your bf2 mods folder
2. "My Documents\Battlefield 2" that is where the config files and the shader cache is stored you might see a pr folder in there but that one will be empty atmost
you should be looking in a different forum:
PR Support - Project Reality Forums
there you will find red stickied threads - one of them is what you need:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... oting.html
if that one doesnt help there are alot more stickies you can crawl
you can also use the search function to help you find related threads and possible solutions
please use the pr specific support forum

that fix for bf2.exe large address awareness is not needed anymore since bf2 1.5 did include it
restore your old bf2.exe
