Hey guys,

I dont know if you can recall but some time back I begun modelling not only new kit geoms for the British faction, but also brand new soldier models too. Unfortunatly however, the project reality team deamed the project as too time consuming for them to animate themselves (as my experience in that department lacks) However, after some time of inactivity on this website, I have been expanding my 3d and texturing knowledge and skills, and have decided to return to the world of battlefield 2 modeling to sharpen my skills and even atempt getting my models into this fantastic mod!

This thread will host all of my works from statics that i am working on to a new British kit geom. So stay tuned for some pictures that will hopefully be released soon!

sorry for the noob question.. but what is the difference between kit geoms and soldier models?

the player model is your body, the head, legs etc

the kit geo is the helmet, webbing etc basically anything that changes on the body when you pick up a kit

your player model is decided by what you spawn in as

just wondering if anyone has any sound pictures with refence to british kits in afghanistan (osprey, molle pouches etc). Ive got a few of my own pictures but i need some high quality large pictures in which to reference from as it will make my life 100x easier!

And to Rhino, unfortuantly, I have stopped work on that due to my files getting currupt when my computer crashed during a save, and for some reason it seamed to destroy the majority of my back ups too :/

not sure about the helmet shape, but I expect you know better than I do.



though the third guy is a bit out there cuz half his stuff isn't getting used, his helmet is the new one isn't it with that unused camo cloth over the top.
