So sometimes when you are in BF2v you see some one climbing a ladder and sometimes on the map you see him being in a vehicle when its an inf only server so that should mean ladders are vehicles of sorts in the BF engine right? so i was wondering could you get more than 8 people on one ladder because of the vehicle occupants cap thing
kinda stupid, but it always weirds me out when i see a vehicle icon get on a roof or jump over a wall
if you can put more than 8 people on a ladder maybe there's a work around?

i think you can have as many as you want i will have to test that

that would be hard to test even if your whole squad listens which is only 6 people

Wow never even would have had such an idea... But try it out and tell me about the result. Doesn´t effect gameplay at all so it´s just a metter of interest to me

You can have more than 8 in ladders, I think. We have had few times in PRT matches someone put p a rope and whole team climbing in up and down

The last time I tried that the server almost crashed.

I think it is able to handle more network load because MobilePhysics is off... (same as the settled grapple)

On a ladder or rope you're not on a fixed position, changable through the F-keys, like in ("normal") vehicles, so that whole system is probably different.

seen this on a mumble night, more than half of the team hid in the tree's, great way to ambush your enemy lol.
