hi everybody,

as the manual says - and as everyone i hope has read in that manual - the caches can be about 140meters away from the cache intel diamond.
in my opinion that is WAY too much. ive been spending hours searching a cache near a marker because the area is big. ive played games where we didnt find the cache for the whole game.
thats nearly on every map. on city maps you have to check like 30 buildings plus. on the new map iron ridge is probably worst in the south east city: if the marker is in the middle you have to check at least 15 buildings with 7 or 8 stories and every story has at least 5 rooms, normally more. on every "outdoor" map that isnt flat as keira knightley you have to check a huge area, which takes a lot of time if there are no buildings. but the city maps are my main critisism.
ofc there have to be other sanctions for the attackers then, like less tickets for the found cache or less tickets overall or something. i think its just pretty annoying searching for endless times.
discuss.

greets, skull

ps: this is not one of these "omg, pr is so bad" posts, just an encouragement for a discussion

This is true sometimes, but most of the times in my personal experience it is not. You speak as if you are going solo - or your squad is going solo - when searching for a cache, in that case its the teams fault for not helping you out.

Also, are you not getting shot at at all when searching for a cache? You must have an excellent enemy team if they aren't firing RPGs like crazy from a marked, or how some people have demonstrated their immense stupidity, from unmarked ones.

Be sure to split up your squad into three groups when searching:
  • Squad Leader + Medic
  • AR+ Specalist
  • Rifleman+Rifleman (or whatever the last tertiary kit is)
And task them with buildings to search.

Hope this helps.
