Ive always wondered...
What is your favourite attack chopper??
and please list why if possible.
Mine is the AH-1Z Cobra
Because of its speed and I like the gunning crosshairs in it! they are so small so you can hit accurately

The apache. Because it's very modern (he has been upgraded with computers and electronics) and the US Army uses it. And as far as I know the Apache IS the best attack helicopter in the world, but don't quote me.

I prefer the Z-10. Best visibility, even though the front of it looks bit retarded and has lot better elevation levels for the gunner then any other Apache..

In term of "favorites"
:
1. Z-10
2. Mi-28
3. Cobra
4. Apache

Gun elevation means everything to me. If i cant hit it if the chopper too high, that means the gunner is practically useless until relocation is done.
Haven't tested them in 0.9 so there might be some changes.

In game.

While in Real, favorite is the Kamov Ka-50.

Havoc, because it seems like its more stable for firing than the other Attack Choppers in my opinion. It also has more Hellfire munitions than other helicopters, allowing it to be out in the field longer.
Downsides would be a low top speed, and less cannon rounds, but those rounds do pack a mean punch of kickyouinthejawwithHE.

Mi-28 Havoc hands down, z10 gives you an epileptic fit in the pilots seat

Havoc, they look way more robust and brutal than other ones...

Flying-wise: Cobra. I just like how it handles, very responsive and fast.
Gunning-wise: Mi-28. Powerful cannon and plenty of missiles.
Look-wise: Cobra. It's a close call between all of them except the Z-10, but in the end I just have a thing for the 'Nam veteran.

And as I'm a pilot 99% of the times, my vote goes to the Cobra.

Looking from a gunner's perspective,

Cobra has the 'Slim-fast' thing going which is awesome, but the Havoc just looks beastly and the cannon to fit. Dislike the red z-10 HUD, too blocky and HUGE. Apache is a cool cat but the cannon tracers are hard to see and aim.

Almost never fly.

Apache

The gun is a lot more manuverable, it's more agile and sturdy, great targeting systems and it looks kickass

Apache, since I usually train with it (or did, before training servers were removed..:roll so I have a good conception of how it handles, top speeds, durability, etc.
Havoc is also good, since the higher level of ATGMs allows easier destruction of armor when you need to fire like 3 or 4 at once.
Z-10 has 64 Hydras instead of 38, so that's definitely a plus.
Cobra seems to be the fastest, and it's low profile makes it slightly harder to hit with MGs and small arms.

All of them have pluses and minuses, but since the Apache is my favorite attack chopper IRL, and since I use it alot in game and have come to love it, I would have to vote for the AH-64.

Plus, I think it kind of looks like a beetle. And beetles are cool.

Being in the gunnerseat most of the time I'd say it's close to a draw between the cobra and the mi-28.

The cobra is agile and have a fast firing cannon, which is good, but it can run out of missiles rather fast.

The mi-28 have lots of missiles, and even though it's gun have a low RoF it makes up for it with it's punch. It lacks agility though and the gunsight doesn't give you that pinpoint accuracy you can get with the cobra.

If I have to choose between these two I would say the Cobra, mostly because of it's great looks, and its great gunsight graphics.

USMC for life but the Apache just plain shreds lol
