Vista 32 bit
Could a high quality sounds setting be eating up memory and causing my crash to desktop?

Put everything to
medium then try it.
That should be your problem.

Maybe, but my dilemma is I'm running a rather upgraded computer, I shouldn't even have to have my textures to medium let alone have to turn off dynamic light and shadows.

It doesn't mater with the highest system, To stop it from crashing put it all on medium, try it and report back.

Well it fixed my crash in 5 seconds problem.
Now I crash in 20 minutes.
And if I survive a map without crashing.
When I load a second map is crashes with a memory error.
I hope a patch comes soon because as is it's unplayable.
Didn't have these many problems before .909.

I don't see any of the above mentioned stickies.
Nothing that titles the crash or memory error.

please post your specs
please be more descriptive as of when the problem occurs and what you have done, did it work before, what things have you already tried?
'[R-COM wrote:thepalerider;1261835']When looking for answers please follow these simple steps.
#1 : Read the red stickys First.
New PR problems are rare so most answers can be found here.
The #2 red sticky is:
"Read This If You Have Pr.exe problems"
Have you read it?
#2. Use the search feature on PRs web site or GOOGLE IT!. Often the quickest way to find what your looking for when you have an error message.
#3. Please remember to include your basic PC info in your post
You have spent some time trying to help yourself, but your ready to ask for help:
Please include your basic PC info in your post :
Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card, type of monitor
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back.
You don't have to write a book,
but your basic PC info is needed to help you.
Good luck

It's not a problem with my Computer.
It's a problem with .909.
.874 worked fine.
.909 doesn't.
Close thread.
