Specifically as the collaborator but also as the unamed kit.

It is supposed to allow spotting of an enemy and to request a mortar strike. Is it only allowed for SL with a cellphone to do so? I tried right click to hold the phone up to your ear as anormal Squad member but Q got no interface and T just gives the drop request kit menu. Does the unarmed cell phone do the same as the collaborator cell phone?

I think only the SL can use it for spotting/area attacks, etc, etc...

And yes it is the same cellphone as the civilian ones.

i think it has same purpose as the sl radio.

what can the civy cellphone do then?

I think it used to be that civy's could ask for a mortar strike using the cellphone.

Not sure though.

I think they should have the possibility to report contacts. That way their grapple hook has more use when not in a fulls quad.

According to the manual you CAN spot enemies, i could not do it in game though.

When collaborator is the SL he can use the radio as normal SL would.

I am also confused about the 'spotting of enemies' using the cell phone. If it's just as a squad leader, wouldn't all kits allow that? Why is it mentioned specifically in the manual? It makes it sound like you can do the vbf2 style spotting that displays it on the map for everyone. Like when spotting a helicopter in a civi car.
