Hello.

Enum Gaming is a new gaming community that hopes to play games like PR and keep a very high quality of gaming.

I need help from the PR community in getting Enum Gaming up and going.

For example I need suggestions on what maps would be the best to play, how many slots the server will need preferably; and anything else that you can think of.

I need more help, I really need ideas.

Buddy, to be a successful gaming community you need to offer something special. A good server helps, 64 slots running the maps that are most popular. We don't know which those are yet in this new release. Running special events is also a crowd pleaser. Study the server list at odd times of the day, find out if there is some popular servers running in the US that you can replicate their concept (all insurgent or something maybe) and offer to the Euro scene? Recruting some infamous people on the gaming scene to come hangout in the forums also help.

However, there is already a gaming forum re PR so most people here may not feel much interest in going somewhere else in addition to this place.

Get yourself a angle to play off when advertising for people. One recent example is the Reality Teamwork which is promoting the use of Mumble. They are also hosting the newly started Alliance (a challenge league kinda) in a subforum.

But most of all, read all the forums here in the PR website, learn what has been tried before and what is needed. I doubt many ppl can give you advice on this as many things have been tried already. It is good that you are working to increase the community.

'Mumble requirement'-rule.

That's what I want to see on more servers.

yea if you are new to PR gamplay MUMBLE is a must expecaly iif you want to be considered .. ELITE muhaha.... but for all seriousness get mumble up and running

I much prefer Ventrilo, however. Might start using mumble considering it is free and can cope with more slots from what I've heard.

I think we will encourage the use of mumble a lot considering it does make the game so much more tactical and this is one of our objectives (a high quality of gaming with tactics).

Mumble is a must, the best servers strongly encourage or enforce mumble usage.

Ventrilo with 64 players? Mumble is a must if you want to be in a server people seek to get good gameplay. THough you can get a server room in the official mumble server I guess.

The amount of mumble slots isn't a problem consider we're getting a dedicated server, it should be fine. Thanks.

Because of some advice we've received, we won't be getting a PR server anytime soon, since its going to be so difficult for a new gaming community to fill a 64 slot server.

However we are still having PR discussions on our forums, so please sign up

TBH I think thats the best choice for now, to many Servers who stays idle and just sucks out money from those who want to have servers.

Good decision, as a new community it would be next to impossible to consistently fill a new dedicated server. You'd be much better off teaming up with another established community or two and working together.
