0.9 Better medic

besides there is a really good thing i can be VERY VERY thackful about the DEV.

the Medic, has become much more playable since he can heal quite fast now.

so, he no longuer just need to care he's squad, he can take a alot of job, and also some time is saved for a fight or something else.

since i kwon, the new medic is quite unreal, but common! having a medic is alerdy quite unreal, since he can revive guys, and get they back in full stengh

because that i must say, the medic is now VERY balaced betwhen reality, and Gameplay,

If the medics can heal faster, how is that more realistic? As in, why is now, that they, according to you, heal faster, the medic more realistic?

i actually think the medic is atm a bit too strong
imo it should take more time to revive ppl, not just running to the body - epipen - running away, thats pretty annoying.
besides, the medic has been quite balanced since versions....

I did find a new tactic that has made my medic experiences very cool :D

if you have a casualty who is quite badly stuck in an object, there is still hope

have one medic constantly CPR him, and the 2nd epipen him :D

works sometimes :D

teamwork ftw

It's much better with fast healing system
when it comes down to healing the whole squad, this fast heal is amazing

Imo that 0.9 heal time is too fast. I actually thought it's a bug. 0.o Additionally sometimes it feels like healing time is short and sometime is long - not the same.

I've always enjoyed being the medic, so whether he heals people faster or not, I'd still pick the kit (unless I''m SLing).

I enjoy it better with faster heal rates. It may not be that realistic but it keeps the game fun.

And Rudd, that tactic is very lol but effective. :lol:

They kinda had to improve the medic, let face it with out the rallies the gone spawning at the front is impossible, so the only way to avoid a long hike through enemy territory is getting revived.

And the medics now have twice the responsibly and work load they had before, and with out the improvement there’s simply no way to handle it all.

Its not realistic to have the medic healing people at all, he will dress a wound and try to stop bleeding but eventually he would have to be cas evac'd. The medic system works for the game, its not close to real but it should not be changed.

i agree but who cares if its not real it works for the game and should stay that way although helaing times should be increased

Healing time increasing only slows the flow of the game, ok its annoying you shoot someone he is revived and back in the game in no time but hey its fun just killing him and the medic next time!

I'm not too keen on it.

All it means is that the guy you've just critically wounded can be back on his feet shooting in your direction seconds later.

So is that official that healing time is decreased or it's bugged (especially that on some rounds it's like 2 seconds to be fully recovered)? Nothing about it in changelog.

I quite don't like insta full health cause it seems quite arcadish. Almost like jumping on medic bag in vanilla. :P Even our squad medic think that it's not good change. ;]

You dont need a 2nd medic, have a squadmate drop a patch on the corpse the same second you stick him with the needle. Requires mumble for maximum coordination tho.

I think the decreased time to heal is a good thing.. otherwise the medic role is a bit of a ball ache, heal, heal, heal. Gets tiresome. I understand the sentiments of it being more 'gamey' but i bet the people saying that don't play medic much. ;)

I think that the medic is fine atm. He heals faster but the revived soldiers must wait 2Minutes instead of 1 min now, and thats ok.

Medic does not need revive ability. Having unlimited healing capacity is strong enough spell. If the game have to include epipens the best usage for them is ticket loss preventing. Saves the ticket but not the man. Only one revive per soldier would be great change as a start in the right direction. I dont like how current version allows medic kit abuse. On ground lying medic outfit provides healing/revives support for the whole team around it. Easy fix for this problem is make medic kit to convert rifleman kit right after when the player has pressed give up.

PR is a war game. Dead should remain dead.
