2 Important questions - Installing Windows XP 64bit

Is it possible to install windows xp 64bit without booting from disk?
My CD/DVD reader broke right before I was going to install windows xp 64bit. I got everything ready on my PC but I since my reader is broken I dont know what to do. I currently have windows7 32bit.
Is there a way to install windows xp 64bit without actually booting from cd?
Can I boot it from anything else? like a usb memory?
The other question is this:
I am installing a game but when i press the install.exe file the pc works for some seconds and then nothing happends. Really frustrating. I try running as admin and stuff but still doesnt work.
