As you can see, the back(where the top cover/carryhandle meets the receiver top cover) of the carry handle does not look correct(they match evenly instead of having the receiver top cover portion being larger).

Can this be corrected?(probably only takes about 2 minutes)

Just to throw another one in:

Real AK47S... does not have screws on the underside of the receiver(the triggerguard/mag catch assembly are riveted)... that model is so obviously built using an airsoft gun.

We all know what they look like ingame... and I suck at taking pictures while holding up a rifle...

He's right about the AK I believe. It's just a small lug that fits in there without screws and the rest of the foregrip is kinda sandwiched in there by a metal retainer that's attached to and slides along the barrel.

EDIT:

So it's only that lug on the end and the metal retainer on the barrel that hold it in place. Come to think about it I believe the AK is designed to be virtually tool-less so it would make no sense to have screws there.

EDIT2: Sorry forgot to say the difference is those screws are what holds the front of the rifle together on my friends airsoft version as unlike the real thing there isn't a meaty barrel passing through the thing that it can be attached to.

Not real, it only cost me $450.
http://www.realsword.com.hk/gun_97.htm

It is actually the RealSword Type 97(airsoft gun, the company is in china and got all the external dimensions to match the real thing... along with the same material/finishing process).

The only difference is the pistol grip(lacks the small grip on the front) and the magzine.

You actually CAN get a type 97 from anywhere BUT USA...

unfortunately, I am not in motherland right now(will go back once finished with college).

Isnt the type 95 being replaced by another non-bullpup rifle the type 03 or something?
Just wondering whats happening to the poor 95, was it not suitable?

They will still be used.

The southern China troops loved it(easy for shooting from inside a vehicle).

Northern troops wants something longer for anti-riot...as recent unrest in the region requires.

Nothing beats a long AK-ish rifle with a bayonet(it has a longer reach than the type 95 with bayonet) for anti-riot.

Basically, there will be two types of rifles for the PLA.

It is also important to know that the prototype Type 95 had both a bullpup version and a standard config. version(which is what the new Type 03 is built off of).
