Cant even start PR, instant crash

Hello people, could'nt find any existing threads that seem to match my problem. Hence the new thread

I've got a AMD phenom quadcore with ATI radeon 4800series HD gfx, windows 7 ultimate, 4gb RAM.

I've installed PR 0909 1&2 and every time I try to start it windows comes up and tells me Pr.exe has stopped working, can't even get into the game.

I've got bf 1.5 installed and working, tried delete/reinstall with no success, this message is what the detailed version says. Sorry for the swedish edition of Windows, and I really hope someone can help me out, thanks dudes

Install all the security & recommended updates from Windows Update.

If it does not help, then tell us where you have installed your BF2? Is in the default folder or in a custom location?

before istalling 1.5 you need to patch bf2 with the 1.41 patch

the error message reports that pr.exe tries to access a non exsistant directory
make sure the directory in the shortcut is like this

Target:
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"

Start In:
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"

if you specified the "mods\pr" folder as target during installation you will have "mods\pr\mods\pr" which will not work (the installer asks to specify the bf2 root directory) - you should uninstall and reinstall pr

Don't forget to run BF2 and PR as 'Admin'.
