i Have downloaded and installed the battlefield 2 and project reallity latest 09...
but when i play the game it shows the poster and when starting it exits.... please tell me what is the problem///

its my dream to play this game///

Firstly have you patched BF2 to ver 1.5?

If you have then check your running the game as an administrator (right click on the shortcut > properties > compatability > tick box called run program as administrator)

Also if that doesnt work, make sure you have the old version of pr uninstalled, either find the right uninstall files, or use the programs and features in control panel.

Have you tried starting first in normal BF2 and then activating the mod from the mods menu? That might help.

I think there was also another solution but I dont remember it at the moment. Ill keep trying to remember... I think one was changing your resolution/graphic settings in your my documents folder and then restarting.. then manually fixing the settings... something like that... hmm... sorry, just going by things Ive seen on the forums in the past.

whats your computers specifications?
maybe you have too less ram...

If I'm thinking of what you're talking about, then I had the exact same problem you did. Project Reality would just close until I restarted my computer. If you tried that, then I don't know.

i have 512 ram and i also checked on 2 gb ram...

i clicked it but in compatibility it has no such option...

1.5 is required (needs 1.41 full first then 1.5) to play PR. so thats probably your problem.

1) install 1.41 Download Battlefield 2 v1.41 Patch
2) install 1.5 Patches and Fixes: Battlefield 2 v1.50 Patch - Demo Movie Patch Download Section - GamersHell.com
3) install PR part 1 and then 2
some of the patches kinda take time to load and install so just give it time.

Bf2 1.41 > bf2 1.5 > PR .9 client 1 > PR .9 client 2

you dont need 1.4, you need 1.41 and thats in the link i gave you, just DL and install.

np, and you should unstall bf2 btw. get rid of everything you installed before you patch, so you have a clean BF2 to start with.

I would upgrade your ram too if I were you RAm is really cheap this days you can get 4GB for really cheap price ( do not go past 4GB unless you use memory intensive programs_
