Would it be possible to add that to the layout on peoples posts to open this window?

Not super mega important just thought it would be a coolies addition to the forums.

It is a vbulletin add-on you put in the code. Its quite simple, just involves editing a couple of the vbulletin html templates. I have it on the CA forum right now.

Easy peasy then.
