Hey everyone,

Just wondering what everyone thinks about the possibility of the taliban, some insurgents ect. also getting romanian style AK's.

The ones with the forward grip, they are quite prevelent and increase accuracy and control.
It would just be a relatively simple change of the exisiting ak47's foregrip.

Of course it would be best to keep both styles available, and make the romanian style less common, or only given to special kits, or perhaps pickup.

If you want it, make it yourself.

Will be the answer you'll most likely get, however I do agree as they seem to be pretty common in Afghanistan.

Looks quite like an AK-74 stock mounted on the -47 reciever.

We currently have an AK47 in-game, not an AKM as pictured. AKMs and AK47 hand guards are slightly different, and are not compatible with one-another. Furthermore, my experience with the donkeyflower grip is that it inhibits reloading and functions better as a hand stop rather than a VFG.

Well, if it were an AK74 stock, it would have the tell-tale grooved stock, which would be obscured by the man's headdress. If it were an AK47 stock, it would not mount on an AKM. ;)

Milled receiver(AK47) and stamped receiver(AKM...etc.) are different, there is no way without heavy modification to the stock tang or the stock for that to happen.

The folding stock is another story.

Btw, you are not supposed to grab the donkey p***s grip like a VFG from a M4... you only pull back on it with your lower 3 fingers on the handguard.

Also, Romanian Kalashnikov knockoff are inferior to authentic Kalashnikov rifles from the progressive factories(Izhmash, Tula...etc.) of motherland.

I would put Chinese type 56 in there instead because those are REALLY common.

Best thing to do: mix-and-match a AK with romanian grips, yugoslavian receiver(the one with reinforcement like the RPK), chinese front sight(fully circular), and AK-74S folding stock.

You call that^: Khyber pass rifle.
