M4 foregrip

I want to know if it is possible to add a foregrip for the US Army's M4.(as I see most standard M4's come with foregrip).
If it is, I would like to mod it myself, as the PR devs have enough on their hands. I have no modding experience, so, some begining tips and recomending programs to use would be very welcomed.

Its the M4A1 that is buildt with foregrips, and that one is used by special forces. So i guess that will never happen.

Indeed, but rifleman specialist or squd leader can have the M4 with foregrip(like a special addon), can't they? I just like foregrip on M4/M4A1.

You can buy a foregrip easily, so i doubt it's just for the M4A1. And iirc the only reason there is no foregrips in PR is because its more work than worth the effort seeing as you will get no benefit from the grip but you need new model, animations etc.

No,what i mean is: M4A1 is buildt with foregrips.
M4 is not buildt with it,but you can still get one for it and put it on.
Im not retarded xD Maybe just a little.

Yes, there is no benefit, it's just for the sake of "looking good" and that's why I want to do it ... beside learning the basic of modding.
New weapon model, animations ... sounds like I'm in over my head, but I will manage ;) .

Nope. Vertical foregrips have always been just an attachment on the M4 series. A removable carrying handle/iron sight on rail mount upper receiver used to be only built in to the M4A1, but now both the M4 and M4A1 are built as such.

Lovely, that means foregrip on the M4 is an "ok" ideea. Again I say, as I do not have any modding experience some begining tips and recomending programs to use would be very welcomed.(tnx boilerat for 3d max and photoshop)
So, as Cheditor stated, do I have to make a new M4 model and animations(hope not) to add foregrip to it, or could I just modify the curent M4 we have in-game?!

with permission , you could modify the current. didnt the british L119A1 have a foregrip? could be added to m4 if some one was willing.

Adding a foregrip isn't a priority and would not change gameplay much, if at all. But it doesn't mean they won't do it, as the Devs had decided to spark up the AR-15 series by modeling and visualizing the openings on the RIS system. Foregrips though are especially popular in the USMC, they're commonly added on to M16A4's and such. Overall, its nothing that this game needs now, and its up to the Dev's if it should be added.

Plus is this a suggestion that isn't in the suggestion forum?

It's more of a proposal as he's offered to mod it himself if permitted. Plus, the suggestion of foregrips being added is already in the suggestion section a fair few times. I'm sure iAllex is aware of that. :p

No, definetly not a suggestion. People have alredy suggested this.
This is me wating to learn modding and wanting to do the small, no priority job's. Of course if the devs are going to do this, I will try to learn modding with something else as I cannot guaranty the quality of my work.

Didn't the old special ops kit have an M4 with foregrip?

I don't remember if that was a DICE model or something, but I'm pretty sure it's still floating around.

That said, I don't see a need for a foregripped M4 in game. I seriously doubt I would notice it.

Working with 3dmax is really hard just so you know and animations are even harder to learn and do then you have to know how they look and if the movements look human like all the ones in PR since animating human movement is the hardest thing you need to be really skilled DL 3dmax and then start reading tutorials
(its not like photoshop)
