Porting to new engine eventually

Probably a bad time to bring this up due to the brilliant work just released with PR 9.0, but I was just wondering if anyone is considering moving the mod to a more up to date engine.
I have been playing BF Bad Company 2 beta and I must say that the Frostbite engine has some great potential. For some reason they left out lean and prone for movement, but the destructible geometry gives the game a whole new dimension. I know that porting to any engine would entail a huge amount of work and given the breadth and depth of the design based on the Battlefield engine you folks would largely be reinventing the wheel, but I think that eventually this must happen anyway. I love the gameplay in PR and if the engine never changes I will still be here for the long term anyway. I just wanted to raise the question and get some sense of the community opinion in the matter.

PR2 is planned for the C4 engine. There has been a lot of discussion about this already.

Please search before you post next time.

AFAIK BFBC2 is lacking mod support.

I wonder how many who would have never bought bf2 if it was not for mods like PR? Good mod support is good business.
