Due to almost all of the community factions being "BluFor" I am holding applications for talented community modders to step up and assist me in creating an Iranian Faction.
Currently with the Iranian Nuclear debates and the rioting in the streets... I believe that Iran would make a very interesting addition to the PR factions. Possible enemies are the IDF (These two GOVERNMENTS... really hate each other) and the US vs Iran.

PS: The MEC =/= Iran. Get that straight.

Brief overview of faction creation: (Will update when we have the team members set up and receive our community page.)

-Reskinning of vehicles and player models.
-Creating player kits.
-Voice acting in Farsi.
-Modeling of a Steyr HS50 and *optional* Zulfiqar MBT 1-3 tank.
-Mapping.

Apparently they use a Grey color scheme now. This is outdated.

The person (Was not me) who made that faction proposal thread has backed out and does not have time to go on with creating the faction. That thread was just a "drawing board" for ideas and have now become overrun with extra posts. His thread had no plan or even application for getting the faction started. It was just an idea he had.

This thread is for applications. Were we actually get something done, instead of just posting ideas and pictures. I would have really preferred if you would have PM'ed me this instead, as I do not want to fill this thread with extra posts aswell.

It is that one Hangman just that he hasn't done a grate job of importing it into Max

I would have shown off the texture in the BF2 editor myself

Lol im not sure if thats a fail on my part or his Take screens in the editor next time.

That is infact the same model of airplane, and don't worry I will give the man his credit when things get serious.

I was going to open it in editor but it was much easier to just drag and drop the mesh file into this mesh viewer thing I found on the web, that is why it looks clunky.

Doesn't matter how "serious" something is, always give at least a very small mention of credit etc when you showcase anything.

He wasn't stealing the model, the model is free for us throughout the BF2 modding community, as well as many other of clivewil's models etc.

I updated the first post like... yesterday... If you looked, you would of seen I added clivewil's name.

I just put a picture up of a model, that is hardly plagiarism.

I speak fluent farsi but i do not have the resources to record high quality in-game voices. If there is any other way I could help, please dont be afraid to ask.
