Better than before?

I think that old PR themes was much more colorfull and expressive than new ones. On chinese maps there were themes with "chinese like" intonations, on desert maps - beautiful "arabic like" tambourines and hornes.
But almost all new themes are tooo neutral and standard, maybe except for "Silent eagle" theme and "Soviet" theme (the one with horn).

music is good as always in pr.
but im not friend some quitar sounds.

Yeah I agree the old themes were more characteristic and fluent. I enjoyed listening to the music before, but now I have it turned down low. Just personal preference I guess.

personaly i would perfer the songs without guitar. To me, it just doesn't seem to fit into the war theme. The one song i do like with guitar is the one insurgent tune. Can't remeber the name right now.

I second this. Guitar doesn't really fit. But regardless, who ever did the music did a very good job.

I hate to admit but i tend to agree.

Old ones had more rhythm and beat.

i think youre right but its a realy good job of the one who did it!

I love the main theme

The new ones are more fun to listen to and are have more diversity in the old version there were some song were the same 15s would repeat over and over again
generally i like them.

I like the songs in their own rights, but as PR music they sometimes feel out of place... Dunno. Maybe it'll just take more time getting used to.

The music in .9 is the best ever. Its so fresh and modern sounding, versus the old music that I absolutely hated to listen too after so long. This music though... This is the kind of music that i'd go out of my way to get a sound track too

Its okay too me, but some victory guitar tunes are annoying.. doesnt fit in...

the new theme is... "rocky" if you know what i mean, liked the old ones more. the songs themselfs are really nice but they just dont fit in with PR imo.

Well, looks like majority thinks that new music is not so good. At least it not pretty fits to PR, like old music does.

Another one thing i wanted to ask. Music, which is played, when russians loose. Looks like it was taken from famous song of famous russian band. This song is about soldiers, war etc, so it fits good. But is there some agreement between devs and russian band? Or this song's part was taken without any permissions? Or these permissions are not required at all (i'm not a specialist in jurisprudence so i dont know details)?

Hey Kumade,

Our Russian Military Adviser suggested that using a riff from that tune would be a good way of paying homage to the band and how meaningful that song is to Russian soldiers. We've had no contact with the band themselves but I'm sure they'd understand that our non-commercial use of it is a tribute to them

Overall I don't really like the music as much in this patch, some of the songs are just quiet and don't have the same rhythm of 0.7 and 0.8 music. Nevertheless you need some change between patches, I'd just prefer it if the best music was kept and only really good tracks put in to replace the rest.

The Music is at a more rhythmic approach like classical-romantic rhythm.
