Hello everyone. My name is Argo and I am a member of CIA.

I am currently in charge of, what we are currently referring to as, Friday Night Fight Nights. It is not official yet, but it would be a community scrim set every Friday night. We would lock our Langley server and provide everyone attending with a PW. The idea would be to sort out some of the less favorable players and have one or two serious games on predetermined maps (maybe even some community maps).
It is just an idea we are playing around with, so the details are not fully set yet. And that is why I have come here. I would like to know how many people would consider joining us if it was at (lets just say) 6-10PM est?

I am open to comments and suggestions.

I sounds great to me, i would join. I have been looking for something in between normal pup games and tournament games. (i dont have the time for tourn.) This would be perfect.

That's exactly the idea. We want a serious game that doesn't require you to be in a clan or deal with the time consuming process of tournaments. Plus, it would give some of us nerds something to look forward to on Friday nights.

Sounds good to me. I only to get to play twice a week so to be able to play in something more organized than just public would be great.

The time for me is a little early - I usually get on from 10pm EST onwards after kicking the kids off the computer.

Yes mumble should be used, looks fun, ill see if I can make it and bring some friends along

Mumble would most certainly be used. The time is still undecided, but we do have to compensate for our friends overseas and for a time appropriate for the majority of our admins. But we'll get to that.

Thanks stealth. We had a hard time getting our first server off the ground during .87, but got a new server right in time for .9 and everythings been great since then. The new server is located in my hometown, Chicago, so I'm quite happy with it.

I have confidence that enough people will join us, so I'm going to go ahead and talk with my boys tonight or tomorrow and try to make this official.

just make sure you gota great map list line up and people will show up.

Sounds like the Password nights on TG, which are always fun.

its quite simple what they do, they give the password out in the rules or previously in TS/Mumble channel
