I don't think PR has enough material to put into a good lengthy magazine. If so, most of it would just be advertisements and then maybe 2 or 3 pages of what each Dev Member is making. Unless we continue to anticipate Project Reality 2, and maybe they might have enough material to present to us for this mysterious project. Otherwise, not a bad idea. But the PR homepage is doing just fine.

Actually, you could track Clan fights, communities Events. Server news, E-Drama (OMG Britney Spears is gay)

You could have people writing their oppinions on the Tournament, ask "5 on the street" go on mumble and randomly interview people etc.

You can doooo so much! And also, pictures, you could have picture competitions, videos in the page, if you have a spaltist or whatever they call it, writer :P He could write awesome stories or give people the courage to squadleade etc. Commanders how to command, guide to HATs Driving APCs using that weapon.

Tactics etc etc.
SOOO FRIKKIN MUCH! :D Great idea.!

See on a homepage they can add stuff when they feel like it which also means that they can, not tell us stuff. In a magazine they would be forced to tell us all there secrets.

Not worth it in my opinion. Just browse the forums instead ;)

Magazine every week would be cool... some top threads from forums, highilhts, advances in community factions, hot tutorials etc etc... there is enough material tbh.

Too much work, not enough content. The forums ARE the magazine....

Every week? Not sure where you would get the time from, but I think most people are too busy to write enough content for a magazine every week.

reading the forums and changelogs pretty much does the same. adding some google does the rest.
and, no offense, but its just a game with like 1000 active players, that would be a waste of money and time.

Agreed on the fact that an actual magazine is not going to happen.. But 1000 active players? 1000 is how many players that is online now. And thats is pretty average. The record was set a few weeks ago when there was +2000 playing at once
So PR has ALOT more active players in total. (you have to ask the devs for the exact number)

If you wanted to put the time in, and I stress only if you, or a few of you who were really passionate about the idea wanted to put the large amount of time it would take to create a monthly magazine then by all means go about it. But be clear on what you are trying to achieve with it. Like people have already said, pretty much all of the information you would include can be found on the forums. However, it can be nice to bring things together in one place. There are lots of things on the forums that people don't always read about, like new developments with some of comfacs. I would be nice to summise in a magazine format the best new updates from such places. So basically take the best of all of the new developments accross the board, including events, possibly some of best funny accounts of ingame senarios, what new pr vids have come out that are of a really high standard and worth checking out, some of the best mspaint your fav pr moments, best new screenshots, some of the best new military vids people have found etc etc and put it all together so people that don't want/have the time to spend hours and hours going through the forums can see what else is happening in the world of pr beyond the pr team official announcements.

If done well it could be pretty cool. But who would stand up to the task? Who would have the dedication to form/be part of a team commited to delivering this every month to a strict deadline? If you are going to do it, make sure you're in it for the long run and do properly. Any half-hearted attempt will be a complete waste of your time.
