Gary seems way to powerful on some maps, especially the small ones like Fallujah. He comes to the main base at start of round and blows everything up and he doesn't need to be inside the base to do it. Since he respawns it is even more overpowered because he can just keep doing this over and over.
Since the tank only spawns once, shouldn't gary also spawn once?

well I don't know if thats bad.. it forces the BLUFOR to get a jump start and destroy Gary before he gets a chance to attack.

look at the videos of these trucks and what they do IRL, its not overpowered....
In fact its the only asset truly worth its weight that the insurgents have. Not to mention its a big target that is loud, slow and cumbersom.
The trend of insurgent nerfing must stop in my opinion.

The Gary truck is anything but slow. It moves very fast, has more hp/armor whatever then an APC(eats ap/heat rounds for breakfast at times,) and respawns. The poor tank, especially on small maps like fallujah, only spawns once. After that the only other targets an average PR player will go for is either apcs(acceptable) or blow the fuck out of their main and destroy all of their assets and call it fair. However, I think this is going to be fixed by the nerfing of the explosion range to 25m or so? I believe a dev stated that.

Gary just needs to spawn on a delay to let the US set up defenses and get out of main at the beginning of the round.

honestly I am not sure why fallujah was changed at all. it was great in .874

As long as you have a tank squad up at spawn, the tank can get out and sit just in the HESCO walls on the Eastern entrance or just outside that same entrance on the road close to main, and can just wait for Dumpy to show up.
(.50 gunner is desirable, he can shoot the driver out really well if he's any smart.)
They just come too rapidly to counter, I think. Removing 1 Dumpy from Fallujah would be beneficial, because of the maps small size they tend to overpower the tank if it's not sitting in open areas for more than 20 seconds.

Yep, that video sure does support the current implementation.

Stop nerfing insurgents...
They just started getting fun in .87 then IEDs got nerfed.... and collaborators were only for idiots.
The bomb truck is just fine, you can hear it from a mile away.

..Unless you're in armor, where you can't hear anything.
Having to use the ear-dar method is rediculous too.

One must use "teamplay", your team should be notifying you that gary is in the area. more communication I would presume, seriously I find it hilarious when armour/blufor fanboys dont get their way somehow they start screaming.
Whatever though, hopefully they do reduce the blast radius, and then it will still be taking out the armour and wrecking havok as trucks loaded with explosives do.
Then I can sit here and watch everyone complain some more, its the wonderful never ending cycle of nerf the insurgent into boringness.

Until Mumble is fully integrated into PR or everyone uses mumble, this point is Null and Void. By the time someone types it out and I read it, figure out where SE is to me versus them, the bomb truck has raced at me at high speeds and blown me up 45m away.

I'm sure the shock would destroy those hesco barriers anyday. It IS a JDAM in the back remember, plus the shock would screw up the crew inside I'm sure.
But that probably can't be coded...

Cos the fuses on the Mk8X series bombs are so unreliable that the insurgents have a ready supply of them overflowing out the arse, so they can send out a couple trucks every thirty minutes yet somehow the Coalition forces have less of these assets to deploy despite the fact that their deployment is the insurgent's defacto supply!
Project Reality my arse.
