I had an excellent few rounds tonight!
Plenty folks using mumble and the 2 channel system works well with plenty folks calling out targets and warnings safe in the knowledge that the bad guy around the corner cant hear you.
Thanks all for a fun night and congrats on keeping on top of things guys making sure people are on mumble and in the right channels...

Excellent game

Altough it seemed that the few odd blue guys I talked to didnt respont on Mumble. But than again, it seemed that almost no one responded on my all chat mumbles so there might be something wrong
I enjoyed the game (the eagle one I think) a lot

nice band of brother like scene when we where defending pond and there seemed to be good teamwork
Congrats on a full server this night

and a lot of friendly faces to top it off

Might depend on how the US public thinks of it and how well the EU server runs to begin with.. It would also help if we had a US based clan involved..

It's nice that you made another server following RT's downfall, however i'm not really a fan of the two mumble channels, also because it takes more time to look for your team's channel.
Anyway, i would like to know if someone shoots from their main, are we allowed to shoot back? I don't really like the idea of having 10 people in their outpost in Korengal sniping taliban.

never had a chance to play on the RT Mumble server because I never appear to have a decent ping, but game your server a shot tonight and I had a really good time. I'll be back

Nice, just to bad you use 2 channel mumble.
That's like RT but with 50% less fun.

I'd like to see it as 50% less spam and childishness

Yep, I'm so glad I dont have to listen to children going "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHYHH" at the end of every round.

having played a few rounds now must say its improving
the karbala round today was good fun, my squad was on top form and we pulled off some impressive assaults (and some dire ones), must have been good as i enjoyed SLing inf.
mumble usage is good, just a shame some people have to vent there anger once kicked by force centreing and refusing to stfu

Great rounds, seems that alot of new faces are coming forward and being friendly and fun.
Just need more admins and you're sorted

Really good fun and a great server since RT reality is no longer up

Brings the larger scale of teamwork back to PR and ups the communication to the best.
But I have to agree with NyteMyre one channel mumble is the way to go for the best experience. And in response to people complaining about kids polluting your eardrums with dribble about his 1337 sniping you can always use toggle deafen self inbetween rounds

Its not about between rounds, there will always be chatter between rounds whether you have one channel or two.
It is in-game chatter/spam/silliness with lots of taunting etc that is the issue and ruins the experience. Two channels is comfortably superior for a more involving, immersive and mature experience.

I liked it better when it was 1 channel. No more rushing to battle you have to pause gameplay to makesure you in right team or right squad leader channel. No more talking to anyone i chose. From what i read from the devs its meant to be more realistic as 1 channel. That vote was way biased for a single reason. TG. They've been around a lot longer than RT has and ofcourse its regualr visitors gonna think one way. Even if its not the best. Had it not been for the TG votes 1 channel would have won by landside. I even posted what the devs had to say about mumble and one channel and they too brainwashed to comprehend its more realistic. Here is link again
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... ality.html
I quote dbazo from the link
5. Player doesn't want to use Mumble since the enemy can hear him. It happens since we configured the mumble channels to have only one channel for both teams. It's a little annoying consequence even though realistic to some degree. Setting two separated channels is possible, but then you have the annoyance of moving to the right channel and everything. We are checking if we can setup a script that does that automatically. Also it's the same issue with TS, as people can just join the wrong channel the same way and hear the enemy plans.
