The M-79 is in use in the following nations; Yemen, Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Somalia. It is in fact still used by American forces for very specialized purposes. The M-79 provides more accurate grenade fire than the 203. Buckshot rnds could be used. It is heavy and cumbersome, but damn doesn't suck to be a freedom fighter with no funding.
I believe this would be a better alternative to Insurgent forces and even the replace the grenadier kit for Hamas and Taliban. Back up weapon could be a AKS-74U or none at all, like the RPG kit.
A quick search for the M-79 lead me to a forces suggestion thread. Maybe the idea of the M-79 could be brought forward again.
An Insurgent with accurate grenade fire could be very useful.

Sounds like a great idea....
But would this be a rare cache spawning kit?
Would it spawn at main?
Could you request it as tali / hamas?
Definately not a spawnable kit... too spammy.

Of the nations listed, only israel are in game. source on its extensive use in the IDF? as for taliban, hard for sources but again. And last point, the current UGLs do fine for accurate grenade fire.

I searched only this forum. If the answer is no, np. Just thinking about adding some flavour to the insurgents. It's is possible to use this at a cache, and in that case grenade spam would be annoying.

Also, when I list those other countries, my intention is to show it's use in and around the battleground of the insurgent forces and it's possible availablity to them.
