Hi there, I am having a problem with PR and BF2 itself when I am playing... Something just pops up. Instead of moving and VOIPing, I am typing in that box. The problem is that I can't close it either. I actually have to exit the game and rejoin. Does anyone know what this is? Can anyone tell me what it is? And why is it happening? There is the image that I am getting... It happens when I press Ctrl + Shift + (a key which I don't know what) or was it Ctrl + Something? I am not sure what it is and it is really frustrating...

I always get into this problem whenever I run and VOIP at the same time...

This was taken when I was playing Silent Eagle. Yes, I have updated to the latest patch.

My PC specs are:
OS: Window 7 Ultimate
CPU: E7400 Core 2 Duo
GFX: 9600GT
RAM: 4 GB
Soundcard: Generica realtek

Strange. Perhaps you have something running in the background, a chat program or other?

I used to have it too, Im pretty sure its related to using windows language bar.

Do you have the language bar activated to type in any other language set than English? Or use it for any of its other functions? This used to happen to me often and it drove me crazy, so I now turn off the language bar when I go in game.

Though tbh, lately it hasnt been showing up even when I dont turn it off.

I think I figured it out. I had a Chinese PINYIN keyboard input switched on I think. I removed it and now is fine.

Glad it helped, post back if it happens again. Had the same issue for Japanese

the key combination to switch between languages is "alt+shift" in XP you could turn that hot key function off , not sure about Win7
