Muttrah is a popular map even with the balance issues and pending fixes in V0.91 by Rhino. This map is along the same lines as Beirut which has also proven very popular. But I and others feel Beirut suffers balance issues perhaps worse than Muttrah. Anyone?

I know that there can be balance issues, but usually I dont think its as bad as people say. Its more like balance issues = your team just sucks. Theres probably complaints of balance issues on every map.

Lack of BTR-80A IMO.

The asymmetry is good since the Russians get so many assets however the APC's just don't survive if the TOW BRDM is dead, since the Merkava's can roll with impunity.

Russians can build tows to kill the merkava, the idf can build tows to kill the btr. It works fine. Can be hard when the rest of the Russians don't want to work as a team. But same goes for usmc on muttrah

This map isn't particularly well played yet due to bugs, lets wait til the next patch

what the russians need is one HIND atack helicopter to even things up, or some kind of russian littlebird with hydras, then that map will be balanced like muttrah.

If I wanted to play muttrah I would play muttrah. I like that the reds can't have death from above.

Russians always lose in Beirut, just like in muttrah where the US always loses.

I've won many times with Russia in Beirut. What are you talking about? It's just you need lots of communication.

Communication, Tows, and the TOW BRDM that is uber 1337. Once the merkava is down, it's smooth sailing for the russians. the trans helis have .50's on the sides, which rip the apcs in half.. except the apcs also have .50's.. so it's a tradeoff.

The water speed changes were idiotic to say the least. The BTR's seem to be the only effected vehicles, the LAV and WZXXX series can still use the boost function...and don't even get me started on The Speedboat.

Currently the fastest vehicle in PR I believe.
