IRL medics and corpsman have optics. I dont think I have ever seen a corpsman w.o some kind of optic

what say you?

I looked if this was a re-suggestion and found nothing.

I was kinda thinking that but I saw IDF have them so I thought hey how about the other real military factions like US, UK etc... but even if it just a red dot it still does not really unbalance the game.

How about red dot and 4x optic?

Not exactly unbalanced, you still only have 6 mags, and you still go down if the enemy knows what double tap means.

I once played on Archer like Canadian medic and helped my friend, who played like Marksman. As a result, I have killed more enemies than he. I was too mach distracted by firefights, and because that the enemies approached us very closely, I could not cover up our position in CQB and we both die.

In the game the medic have a lot tasks, and he should focus on their implementation. And the weapon he has to defend itself, and ironsight him enough for that.

I prefer ironsights and aimpoints anyway, much quicker scope-in time.

An aimpoint with greater FOV even better

[ot]I rarely use scope and don't play much with the Canadians as I cannot choose a weapon without a scope.
Would be cool to rush trenches in Yamalia or houses in Archer but it seem that this option is taken away from me :( [/ot]

Being a medic is a full time job and when things get ugly your using your voip much more than the SL.
You are most of the time last man standing and need to have a weapon you are most familiar with.
Now that medics are limited i see no reason to not give them a scope if player so choses.

I'd say the red dot. I'm not fond of ACOGs, and there's no reason for the medics to have one. They're just easier to aim with when needed to revert to the rifle.

i hate this argument, PR isnt supposed to be like real life, its supposed to have the tactics and teamwork as in real life

i would be ok with medic to be equipped with a scoped rifle but only if he has limited ammo, like 4 mags plus 1 in the charged rifle

I'm pretty sure the Devs generally aim for realism as often as possible, and sacrifice it when necessary to improve game play.

With the medic kit now being a limited kit, I really don't see a problem with giving the medic a scope. The problem with scoped medics occurred because everyone in the squad would go medic if it came with a scope, and just constantly revive each other, which obviously is no the point of the medic class.

deff I agree with this maybe we could even push it with lets say only 4 mags....

and for the super kit thing I dont rly think so.... riddle me this, a squad sole survival is the medic now. If he is ramboing it and gets shot there will be no way of getting the "dead" up (often times I see insurgents and wat not steel the medic kits fairly fast, if he is rushing up ahead of the squad or even point and gets hit and is downed bye bye kit. Squad leaders rallys only go for 30 secs and often if your too close to the enemy your sol. So if your running and gunnin as a medic its not going to work well for your squad in the long run.

Iron sights are best anyway, and the medic should just provide cover fire anyway. And the ironsights are best at close quarters when he needs to save his squad by talking out the last enemies. On long range he can just use smoke.

IMHO amount of clips has nothing to do with how people react or how lethal the kit is.
Except if it's lower than 3.

+1 on that. Always using Aimpoint when I have the choice.
