Hi,my suggestion is to make more CAS choppers!!!
I think, all fractions can must have CAS choppers like USMC UH-1 or US Army AH-6 LB
Well -
US army - AH-6(Ingame).Thats placeholder of OH-58D!
Weapon(Kiowa) - ??? this is your choose DEVs!
USMC - UH1(Rockets)(Ingame) - no need more changes!
Weapon - 2 LAU10
MEC and French - SA.342 Gazelle(Ingame on USI)
Image
Image
Weapon:
2 blocks of rockets(LAU10?)
Germany - Bo.105(Not in game)
Image
2 Rheinmetall Mk.20 Rh 202 cannons(They no have rockets =( )
Russia - Mi8(Make some changes on Stigger model)
Mi8 - bad maneuvererty,but many rockets!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJGqcvihSIs[/youtube]
Weapon - 2(40) or 4(80) blocks of S8 rockets!
China - WZ-9(Ingame - bad model,need new model) or Mi17
WZ-9
Image
2 rockets blocks
Mi17(Thats Mi 8)
Image
Similar with russian CAS chopper!
United Kindom
Lynx Mk.9(Ingame - Need some changes)
Weapon - 2 Rockets blocks(Lau10)

I think thats good idea,if thats choppers use on big maps(16km^2),like kashan, quinling or silent eagle and some medium maps(4km^2) like beirut(Mi8 for RU) ond some insurgensy maps!

I would rather say the Chinese chopper you are showing is a variant of the Panther, being done by the Brazilian Forces ;)

Do you guys really dont have anything better to say...

He can suggest something... DEVs are here to decide wether to or not to do it.

DEVs have chosen to be in this mod, its their "job" to do those thing, sure you can help if you want, but im sure he does something else in life in his free time as the DEVs do this...

Sounds like a pretty good idea. I like the variety in assets on different maps, makes things very interesting and less repetitive over time. So go ahead and get modelling.

I think that's a flawed view of how things actually work here. I'm almost certain that the Military advisors and the DEVs themselves incorperate nearly everything used by the forces ingame and if not work on getting them in.

The main reason behind the "do it yourself" attitude is that often a random guy will simply make a suggestion and then expect other people to do the work for them. On top of that, most suggestions are simply unrealistic but occasionly plausable, not to the level where the DEVs would actively put them ingame but to the level where it could make a nice easter egg or pickup kit. A little bird is quite unrealistic for example but I like them being ingame for flavour and variation. they do not replace the main assets, but complement them.

And of course, getting the DEVs to spend time making that m40a5 rather than working on the code is a waste of time for the people who need it most.

Yeah Kiowa is already in the files. But it doesn't seem to be finished, the interior and weapons still need a bit of work.

Gazelle is already in the game, just not used on any maps yet AFAIK.
If you want to fly it download the RT training map.

Does the Gazelle have any weapons?(in-game) The one I found in the files(mec_the_sa341h) looks unarmed.

So when you go to the/call the police that something's wrong, do they say: "we had a burglar break into the house yesterday, do this one yourself ..."?

And yes, if you read a post or two above, hes actually making something...

Ye, we are well aware of all these choppers and many other vehicles that are not in PR but how ever much we would like to make them all we simply do not have the man power to make them, at least not all of them at once.

So to put it simply if you want to see it in the mod the best thing to do is make it happen yourself by making it, its as simple as that.

That is really completely different since there is a law against people taking the law into there own hands, there is no law to stop someone from contributing to a free modification which all of us here at PR do not get paid to do.

AMEN.

Also, The vehicle in PR that has the most variants, suprisingly, is the littlebird. Transport, minigun, or minigun and hydras. I think the huey and blackhawk should have similar variants, same with other factions.
