Let me explain here so that you may understand what i need (this is probably more for a dev to answer, buuuut if someone can make me and give me something equal, that would be awesome.)

I have a friend who wants to play PR and stuff. Currently he spent all his money on his laptop and apparently can not afford the 10 bucks BF2 is. (Haha. Lawl). But because I'm a great best friend, I decided I was going to make a PR bundle (plus I wanna use my cool little lightscribe dvd burner for once) and get him a copy of BF2 and make an "auto-installer" of Project Reality in it's own disc that installs both the 1.41 patch, the 1.5 patch, and both PR installs. (Probably gonna have to be split onto 3 discs buuut I'll figure out how to make it work haha)

Anyways, I was gonna do artwork on the discs themselves (just to do something remotely artsy cause I need to do something productive) but I wanted to use the manual cover for the DVD cover.

But I don't want the DVD cover to have the word manual... and I kinda want the camo background so I can make an proper "Back" and "side" for the game.

Sure it'll be outdated by the next release and he'll have to download it... Buuuut i already offered and I just kinda wanna make it fancy. (I'm known for either being completely lazy, or going WAYYYYY out of my way to do something that no one really cares or notices.)


In short:

LithiumFox wants to a psd of the manual, or at least the pieces of the cover of the manual, so he can make a dvd cover for his friend to put.

Also, this works cause I'm going to print of the PR manual and actually make a manual out of it.. XD

It shall be epic.

OH... and No.. i won't be profiting... i'll be losing out. cause it's a gift. =D

I totally would do this for my girlfriend... but i think she's happier if i just get her that resident evil game for the wii... XD

I hope what you have here helps you. I might be doing an updated DVD cover but as you can imagine the priority isn't really that high due to the game not being available in stores If you need something else you can PM me and I can see if there is anything laying around that can help.

Haha. Well maybe people who don't have internet but wanna play singleplayer will enjoy it?

I do play on making a few of these for friends. XD It'll even come in a "Special Edition" boxset. xD hahaha.

I wanna see if i can give it to friends like it's a "real" retail game. hahaha.

i have made about 16 or 17 copies of PR for friends over the last year or so, most of the time its just a couple of disk's but THIS, This is epic, you have answered my dreams, to be able to give this kind of thing to my cheap arse mates that cant be bothered downloading or are dont have a clue, this will just make everything worth while.

if i wasn't sure i would get busted in some way i would make dozens of copies of this and plant them in gaming stores around the city, just to mess with people and to get them asking Questions. kinda like communist guerrilla retail....... yeah i know, i am weird, but this game is AWESOME.

Well I hope that me and spearhead can work on this behind the scenes for a moment. I'll give you a step by step of what i'm going to accomplish when I'm done.

What I hope to do is come up with a Project Reality "Super Deluxe Two-Pack Special Edition" case. I'll show you the designs once me and spearhead get done with just the DVD case.

What's gonna be really awesome is how i'm going to set up the installer. Hopefully I can set up a master installer that automatically runs the BF2 1.41 patch, BF2 1.5 patch, PR Part 1, PR Part 2, Mumble, and xfire installers all in one go. =D (Less opening and more forceful installations makes a person who can't be arsed into doing stuff do it because it's there. XD At least thats how my best friend works.)

=D So this is a task in itself.

I had 2 ideas for the CD cover as well. Use a standard sticking label (either professionally done or otherwise) or use LightScribe discs. I figured for the first 5 versions of this i'll make, I'll probably do Lightscribe (cause then it's fancy). Then if i ever made any more i would go ahead and use regular labels.

I already know I have 2 people in line for the first set. =D I just hope this turns out as well as i hope.

So yeah.... thats what I plan to include at least in the prototype special edition. Mind you that this prototype is for two friends from my hometown... sooo... yeah. XD

Really the only issue is getting a the special cardboard box I want to get... > > I'll worry about that later.

And please mind that I'm not selling this. It's a gift to my friend. I just wanted to do something epic. I just REALLY hope i can find a good "special edition-like" cardboard box or something ><

hey if you can do it, i might have to buy some and get them shipped over to aus.

I'd love to buy some that cover off someone, reproduce a heap and distribute PR in New Zealand as a DVD. I know a guy who owns a boutique game store hehe he'd probably let me set up a stall for free PR disks. But then again im not even sure if distributing pr off disks would be legal

I know what you guys mean, all my mates find PR too much bother to set up, I'd like to see what you come up with Lithium.
